SGS International Tests

In order to validate that fiscal or allocation metering systems are in compliance with the functional design specification, it is advisable to undertake acceptance testing :
- At the manufacturing location (factory) and when equipment has been commissioned on-site: This process provides early identification of any variances between Client Requirements (as documented in the Metering Functional Design Specification) and the system provided by the Metering System Provider.
Early identification of such variances enables corrective actions to be identified and allocated prior to the system entering service when the cost for implementing such changes will rise dramatically.
SGS reviews existing or develops project specific factory and site acceptance testing procedures in order to validate that key elements of system performance are met. These test procedures are designed to verify that the system provided meets required criteria in all respects of its design.
SGS has experienced and qualified personnel located in North America, Europe, Middle East and South East Asia capable of performing acceptance testing activities.
Due to SGS reputation for integrity with regulators, SGS independence from equipment manufacturers or agency agreements, and SGS global presences, they can help ensure the accurate operation of fiscal and allocation metering systems.
SGS OGC also offers sampling and laboratory analytical services to our clients of the highest standard, carried out by experienced trained staff. Their goal is zero non-compliance with not only standard practice, but best practice.
